Today's Girl children are tommorows Leaders, Mothers and the Change Makers in the family and in the community. There are many girls who are very much interested in pursuing thier higher education but are facing financial crisis. This microproject will help these children to make their dreams come true.
The community is facing a huge financial crisis where the girl children are in need of some support so that they can pursue their education with ease.
There are many families where the girl children have lost their father. Only the mother is earning which is only sufficient to meet their daiy needs. In this case, the education of the girl child is something that is never given importance. We have identfied 750 such families : 300 in rural area and 450 in urban area where their are 500 girl children from 9th -12th standard and 500 girl children who are yet to join college but are not having any support to pay their fees.
Today's girls are tomorrows women, so these girls grow as empowered women and address the gender issues in the family and community, their children will get proper education and health services. The income of 1000 families will increase because these girls will go for better paid jobs, that means nearly 5000 people will directly benefit. The 100 slums and 24 villages where we are working will benefit because of these 1000 educated girls involvement in the local level community development.
