We scrapped off the $7 charge for our services

Dear friends of Whisper,

Thank you very much for following upon our work and also for your kind and generous donation.

Uganda has gone through 3 weeks of a strick lockdown that had affected tens of millions of people.

Ugandan government just announced another 21 days of lockdown starting from today, which puts more pressure on everyone than before and Whisper had to come with solutions into helping those most vulnerable.

Whisper would spend about £25 a day for fuel to transport the below patients in and out of the hospital. Our team works day and night to help everyone who finds themselves in any kind of emergency situation. For the following 7 days of free transport, £175.

Whisper also decided to treat all anaemic and malnourished patients free of charge - which would normally include registration fee £8 + £12 of admission fee). Anaemic and malnourished children are rapidly increasing due to the bad economic situation, where people are not allowed to trade as normal.

Below is also a report on some of the free transport that was provided to the people since the lockdown in Uganda - only thanks to your contributions! Please continue to contribute towards our work, as another 21 days is trully very difficult not just for our clients and benefitiaries but too for our organization, as we are loosing the monthly contributions that we normally receive from our patients, that help to pay for some of our bills.
