Five Motivation meetings on Cheveratin deer were organised in Sirumalai hills in that tribe and forest dwellers participated. Importance of endangered species - mouse deer and importance of its existence is insisted. Immediate action to be taken when it is affected or hunted. Its importancs in forest conservation and biodiversity existence.
Petition dropped to forest department and Govt officals are done contiously and lobby/advocacy are made with competent people.
Banner and poster were pasted in all sirumalai villages that are insisting importance of Mouse deer conservation and offence when it is hit/hunted.
A vigilence people committee is formed and now under funcioning that taking more care on the conservation of mouse deer
