We've got some exciting news and need your support to make it come to life! Clown Me In got invited to participate in the 35th session of the Neapolis International Festival, and we need your help to spread some fun vibes and draw happy smiles on people's faces in Tunisia, while promoting theater for children and young audiences to boost their socialization skills. Everyone needs a drive away from reality these days and we are happy to oblige, but cannot do so without your help!
People in Tunisia are suffering from countless daily challenges, including social, political, health and environmental, and are not being properly socialized due to these observed problems. Art can play a significant role in offering them the opportunity to properly integrate into society through participating in a fun activity which would certainly ignite their creative thinking, make them forget about those for a day or two, while allowing them to indulge in some much-needed fun and laughter.
Clown Me In works to provide relief to communities using the power of laughter and play. We create fun, safe and educational shows with positive, humanitarian messages that can be performed anywhere and for anyone. This is such a critical, but often overlooked form of relief work, especially for people who do not usually have access to that sort of entertainment and children who don't get the chance to experience childhood as they should.
Besides the immediate and gratifying psychological benefits of laughter which help people to deal with emotional trauma, we put on performances with impactful and empowering messages that stay with people even after the shows are over. The shows will take place between December 18th and 22nd, 2022 and participating artists from Clown Me In will include Sabine Choucair, Samer Sarkis, Ramis Abi Khalil, Youmna Moacdieh, Riwa Kharrat Riwa Housami & Hisham Assaad. Goal to be reached by Dec. 1st.
