Hello friends,
Thanks for your donations to provide medications here at the Clinica de Esperanza, the last shipment should last a few months. The donations have kept us in business to care for the poor. They were out of normal medications for a time when transportation was shut down and we were on lockdown. The people were out of their meds for hypertension, Diabetes, hyperlipidemia and antibiotics for common infections.
As far as COVID goes we just try to keep people fed, hydrated and give them anti-inflammatories for the pain associated the the fever and disease process. Also giving them vitamins and some extra zinc.
There are no vaccines here and the COVID rates are still high. We have written a grant to hopefully get someone's attention to help us keep people safe.
Be safe out there.
Gratefully,
gayle savage davidson
