Blessed Echoes Children Alliance participated in the recent fundraising campaign in December 2024 with the purpose of raising funds for purchase of two water tanks for the children at school in order to save them from accessing water from open wells and water from surface sources. We had a target of raising $ 8000 but we managed to raise $ 13.66.
FUNDS UTILISATION
The school had other challenges of available containers for collecting water from the well like plastic jellycans and therefore, there was also need to purchase small water containers that can be used to fetch from the available sourced. We decided for the meantime to purchase 5 jellycans of 20 liters each to ease the workers to collect water from the borehole. Right now, water can be fetched in these jellycans as we wait for donations to purchase big tanks in the future.
APPRECIATION
We would like to sincerely thank all those who donated towards the purchase of the tank and we continue to appeal to all people of good will to donate in the upcoming Little by Little Campaign scheduled for March 25th to 28th 2025.
