Dear Project Supporters,
Thank you so much for your support to help provide additional classrooms to relieve congestion and enhance learning.
Because of your support, the school purchased construction supplies and advanced the classroom construction. A couple of layers of cement blocks were added to the previous walls. The photos also show the iron rods, granite stones, and boards used in the construction.
They plan to continue construction when school reopens / more funds become available. Additional classroom space will be a definite solution to overcrowding.
Due to COVID-19 EPIDEMIC, all schools in Sierra Leone are currently closed. All learning right now is taking place from children's homes using radio learning.
With this in mind, we are focusing our efforts on providing radios. The kids urgently need radios so they can listen to educational broadcasts. You can learn more and help provide radios.
Your continued support is truly changing helping to change not only individual lives but also the entire nation. We warmly invite you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. This is the best way to ensure an ongoing impact. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
