Thank you so much for your donations towards purchase of matresses to 40 children, you and other Globalgiving givers donated worth $2000 towards this cause.
Your money has caused smiles in the faces of 40 and many other families in Uganda, "my children have been sharing one matress, imagine all the five kids in a one two inch matress, you saved me, thank you" narrated Mary, a mother five children.
Over 200 children in Mpigi community sleep in hard mats or rugged polythene bags, "this is one of the reasons for poor performance in schools since these children do not get good sleep in the night, they end up sleeping in cleass", said George a village council leader.
