Hello from Twende!
We wanted to reach out and give you an update on our project, "Build Tech Prototypes for Innovation in Tanzania." Unfortunately, we did not reach our full funding goal within the 90 days we were given and were not able to purchase the 3D printer as planned.
But, we still have some good news to share! With the $30 we received from two wonderful donors like yourself, we were able to make some great improvements to our current makerspace. We were able to purchase various materials and tools that have helped our program participants create even more amazing community-serving technologies.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported our project. Your contributions have made a real difference in our community and we couldn't have done it without you. We understand that there may have been a lot of competition with similar projects or lack of visibility and the limited time given to raise the funds. We truly appreciate the support and feedback provided by GlobalGiving and we'll make sure to keep that in mind for our future projects.
We are currently running two other projects, "Help Tanzanian Youth Make Tech to Help Themselves" and "Teach Tech Innovation to Girls & Women in Tanzania" that align with our mission of empowering and inspiring our community members through technical innovation. We would be grateful if you could take a look at these projects and consider making a donation, or even sharing them with your network to help spread the word. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a big difference in our community.
