Hello!
Thank you again for supporting our big Tamar Christmas Outreach. You have made it possible that yesterday morning we were able to pack 1000 Gift Bags for the women working in the bars of Pattaya. In the afternoon and evening we went with about 35 people out into five different redlight areas from Pattaya and distributed the bags. It was amazing to see how much joy these bags have brought to the women. Some could not believe that we would just give them a gift! Inside we also had a DIY-Cardmaking set for the women that have children – so that they can send a gift to their children. Many of them loved these sets and it was nice to see them happy. Sadly, we encountered many new and noticeably young women in bars. Many only 18, 19 or 20 years old, all just arrived within the last couple of weeks – all wanted to urgently make money for their families.
But we are also happy to announce that today, after receiving a giftbag yesterday, one 19-year-old woman left the bar and joined us at Tamar to start her vocational training with us! Amazing, we are very happy about it.
Please have a look at the different pictures below to see the impact that your gift had. Thank you for bringing joy this Christmas!!!
