THANK YOU!!! 
After two years, we were finally able to have our in-person Christmas party for the students this year. We were grateful for the opportunity to be together once again to celebrate Christmas. Several of the students performed songs, dances, and recitations for our traditional talent show and two students dressed up as Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa Claus. Of course, the highlight of the day was the gift of Christmas bread, cocoa, powdered milk and Christmas cookies given to each and every one of our students. As well we were able to give a small backpack to all of our primary and high school students.
As the donations amounted to more than the original budget, we were able to spend $5,00 instead of $4.00 for backpacks for 37 children as we were able to include the children of our students as well. The price of the Christmas breads had increased by Bs2,00 each, but with your generous donations, we were able to cover the extra cost. Please find the final accounting at the end of this report.

The backpacks were a success!!
Every student received a paneton, cocoa, powdered milk and cookies.
Accounting: The amount of the total donation came to $US 1003 on the GlobalGiving platform as some of the donations were made on GivingTuesday when GlobalGiving offered matching. This gave us enough to include an additional purchase of Christmas breads and cookies to be served that day at the party for everyone who attended.
