Play, more than any other activity, fuels healthy development of young children. It is through play that much of children's early learning is achieved. The children we work with have never had toys to play with , making do in the villages with a brick tied to a piece of string. The street children do not even have this. This appeal will bring smiles to many children as they will have their own personal toys including soft toys for the first time in their lives as well as having access to more
We intend to manage any funds we receive in the following way. To establish a toy library at Rescue Junction for all the children. To give personal toys including cuddly ones to help often distressed children who come to our center , and thirdly to give mainly educational toys to all of our schools serving hundreds of children. Can you remember your favorite toy from your childhood? What you may not know is how that toy impacted your development and in more ways than you could possibly know.
This is an humanitarian appeal which will bring so much Joy to children who have so little and yet appreciate everything that is done for them so much. Help us spread some much needed happiness to street children and those living in desperate poverty and let the children play!
It is the aim of the trust to engage with the police, railway authorities, the judicial system and local government in helping to provide a child safety network in the district. This has the potential to help thousands of kids.All toys purchased will not require batteries!
