In Patna and Bodhgaya, Bihar, 90% of unprotected female street children vanish from local streets after turning 13. They face extreme vulnerability, abuse, and forced exploitation. People First Educational Charitable Trust is on the frontlines intercepting predators, raiding exploitative environments with local police, and providing a genuine bridge to safety.
Street-connected girls in northern India endure horrific daily realities. Without family protection, legal documentation, or shelter, they are prime targets for traffickers who exploit their desperation. Our staff coordinates with local police to raid illegal environments and pull young girls from danger, they desperately need intensive psychological care, secure housing, and real economic alternatives that protect them from criminals for good.
This project provides comprehensive, trauma-informed rehabilitation and vocational training Certified Skill Training: Hands-on education in producing marketable textiles, toys, and crafts, complete with government-approved certification so they can secure legitimate jobs. REscue Junction has a sewing centre Holistic Healing & Care: Safe spaces, nutritional support, clothing, basic literacy, and continuous mentoring from trained from trained social workers.
