Challenge

Enhancing education to the highest standards necessitates a robust infrastructure. Consequently, constructing a cutting-edge school can effectively tackle numerous critical challenges. It can enhance accessibility and inclusivity, cultivate an inspiring learning environment, facilitate seamless technology integration, draw top-tier educators, bolster safety and security measures, and champion environmental sustainability.

Solution

A well-designed and adequately supported physical and digital infrastructure is essential for creating a conducive learning environment that promotes educational excellence. This improves the learning environment by motivating and engaging the students more; provides proper sanitation facilities, clean drinking water, and safe structures that reduce health-related absences and ensure the overall well-being of the students. It also helps with quality teaching and staff retention.

Long-Term Impact

VF was funded to identify and develop individual child talents to give them a chance to improve their own and their family living conditions. The high quality of the education, together with the tailored monitoring of each child emotional, physical and intellectual development will have a clear impact on the Kibera community future. Every activity carried out by VF involves also the children's parents so to widen the impact and immediately benefit the local community.
