15 women formed a group for purposes of making and packing Juice, these women have been trained in juice making, they lack start up items for their dream to come true, their company will be based on beverage products.They have segmented their market according to age, sex,income and occupation
The future demand for processed and canned juice and syrup is a function of urbanization, income and change in the consumption habit of the population. Considering the above three main factors, demand for the product in Uganda is forecasted to grow by 5% per annum, yet no local company is available to capture the market.
The project will purchase materials to be used in making and packaging juice like bottles, labels, capping,juice extractor, filler and sealer, boiler etc these materials will help set off the women's project, which in future will sustain itself after its establishment.Packed juice is the fermented drink obtained from ripe fruits.Concentrated juice may be added.
The major raw materials required for the envisaged plant are fresh fruits, like mango, oranges, pineapple, etc which are already grown by the women them selves, this means that the project will run at a lower cost as they will not need to buy most of the raw materials.
