Dear Donors,
You will be happy to know that 40 Ex-child labourers were trained in Basic Computer Operations, English and Maths since the start of the project "Skilling 100 Ex-child labourers in Trichy District". The first batch was started in March 2019 and the second batch in April. The children from Musiri were taught to read/speak simple words and sentences in English. They were also taught basic Mathematics. The main focus is on using the keys in the computer and basic computer operations which will help in preparing computer bills.
After the successful completion of the two batches, the trainees (40 in number) were given certificates. 15 children were placed in various small shops in Musiri. The orders were given on the day of the certificate issue.
Now the third batch of training is conducted in Kaja Pet. 20 trainees are attending the program. Two more batches are to be conducted in Trichy. The third batch is nearing completion and the candidates interested will be placed in suitable jobs.
All this is possible only because of you dear donors and with the funds we received from EQFI. Thank you dears for being a part of this wonderful project and shaping the lives of these poor children.
