Angie and Zuma have been on a long journey. Angie did not make it into the transitional housing program in January. With 42 applicants and only 5 slots we were raising funds to help Angie get in her own place. Unfortunately we were not able to raise all of the funds necessary.
In what seemed like a miracle, the shelter agreed to let Angie stay until the next round of transitional housing applications in June for a July 1st move in date. Angie got in!
Angie and Zuma are moving into their own little apartment this 4th of July weekend! You have truly helped give Angie and Zuma the gift of freedom from abuse and a new start! The funds you donated will go toward utilities and basic needs while Angie looks for a job.
We can't thank you enough for helping to support Angie & Zuma! The AODVC Team.
