Challenge

Thousands of vulnerable women in rural and slum communities struggle to survive due to poverty, unemployment, lack of education, disability, and social discrimination. Widows, single mothers, and differently-abled women often face severe financial hardships and limited livelihood opportunities. Without stable income sources or vocational skills, many families remain trapped in cycles of poverty, hunger, and insecurity.

Solution

This project will distribute sewing machines to 80 needy women and provide them with foundational tailoring and entrepreneurship training. Equipped with practical sewing skills and income-generation opportunities, beneficiaries will be able to start home-based tailoring work, stitch garments for local communities, and gradually establish small businesses. The initiative will promote self-reliance, confidence, and economic stability among marginalized women.

Long-Term Impact

The project will create sustainable livelihood opportunities for 80 vulnerable women and improve the living conditions of their families. Increased household income will help women provide better nutrition, healthcare, and education for their children. In the long run, empowered women will become financially independent, socially confident, and active contributors to community development, helping break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
