As GlobalGiving’s Chief Program Officer, Chinwe leads organizational strategy to provide world-class experiences that amplify the voices and perspectives of nonprofit partners and changemakers in more than 175 countries. In her previous role, Chinwe served as Assistant Dean of International Studies and Programs at Michigan State University, where she was responsible for leveraging MSU expertise to identify and scale new opportunities for global citizenship education, positive youth development and entrepreneurship. Chinwe holds doctorate and master’s degrees in international relations and political science from the University of Delaware, and a bachelor’s degree in English and literary studies from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and three daughters, and writing children’s books.
