Katherine Hardcastle

Katherine is a member of GlobalGiving's Vetting + Grants team. She works as the Grants Manager for corporate referred community leaders all over the globe. She received her master’s degree in international social work and spent time living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was there that she quickly realized she wanted to work to support the people that knew their communities best. One of GlobalGiving’s core values—great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time—was Katherine’s siren song to GlobalGiving, where she began working with nonprofit partners in 2012. Since then, Katherine has worn several hats at GlobalGiving, and she’s excited to be working with community leaders and companies who believe in the unleashed potential of people to make positive change happen.
