As a Vetting and Grants Fellow, Allison upholds trust between GlobalGiving and its partners by ensuring organizations looking to join our community are thoroughly vetted and held to the highest standard of review. She received her bachelor’s degree in community development and applied economics with a specialization in community and international development from the University of Vermont. Before joining GlobalGiving, Allison worked with organizations that provide access to culturally appropriate food and healthcare to migrant farmworkers via fundraising development, grant writing, and interpretation. Allison can be found experimenting with small-scale farming in her backyard, attempting to learn new languages, or finding the perfect paneer masala.
