When will the organization receive my credit?
It can take up to 60 days before the organization receives your credit. More information can be found on the GlobalGiving website.

How will the organizations use the money?
All funds directed to featured organizations on the site will be for general operating support, meaning each organization may spend the funds where they determine the money will be most impactful.

If an IWD attendee doesn't participate, what happens to that money?
Google will contribute all unused credits across all aforementioned organizations.

Can I get a personal tax deduction?
IWD attendees are not entitled to claim a personal charitable tax deduction because the contribution to the selected organizations will be made by Google using Google funds.

Will organizations outside the US receive funds in local currency?
The organizations will receive funds in their local currencies. Because of the conversion from USD to local currency, there may be gains or losses based on foreign exchange rates.

Will the organization get 100% of the contribution or are there fees involved?
For the recommended organizations: Google is covering all transaction fees associated with the processing and payment of funds.
