In support of HE NAMED ME MALALA and every girl's right to 12 years of safe, quality education, we have launched a youth ticketing and screening program in key countries where the Malala Fund has advocacy and programmatic goals. Tune back in to learn more.
Today, more than 60 million girls around the world are out of school. Malala Yousafzi sparked international media outrage when she was targeted for speaking out on behalf of girls' education at the age of fifteen.
HE NAMED ME MALALA is an intimate portrait of Malala's life as she continues to campaign for the rights of children worldwide. This program will help bring the film to students globally by partnering with local not-for-profit organizations in countries like India, Nigeria, Kenya and more.
Youth will be empowered to use their voice to advocate for policy changes that enable girls everywhere to have access to quality education. In the words of Malala, "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world."
