Here's a summary of how two of our partners contributed to the well-being of children in Venezuela, shaping a more hopeful tomorrow for the country.
The mission of Fundación Mayacuchas is to collaborate with Venezuelan institutions, groups, and foundations to provide food, health, and education to vulnerable Venezuelan populations. Fundación Mayacuchas used its share of the funds to partially cover the costs of surgical operations for three children performed at the Hogar Clínica San Rafael in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Healing Venezuela works to develop long-term sustainable solutions to tackle health-related problems in Venezuela. Healing Venezuela used its share of the funds to serve nutritious breakfast and lunch meals to 96 children for a whole month.
