During the last months, our community of trusted nonprofits has been hard at work turning your compassion into tangible results for communities in Venezuela. In this month’s report, I want to highlight the work done by two of our partners.
Factor-H is a nonprofit committed to enhancing the quality of life of Venezuelan and Latin American Families affected by Huntington’s disease and living in conditions of extreme vulnerability. In September, Factor-H offered medical, psychological, and educational support to communities located in Barranquitas, Zulia, and San Luis, Maracaibo. Fundación Andrés Bello is a nonprofit committed to providing dental and medical care to people with disabilities living in vulnerable situations. In November, Fundación Andrés Bello offered medical and dental consultations in Caracas to people with physical and mental disabilities.
