Giveaway Fundraiser
A fundraiser by Erik Curtis
Friends! This fundraiser is to support Home Storytellers and their mission to make a film about Jacques Kabongo, a refugee who received vocational training from the NGO There is Hope. Jacques' life in a stagnant refugee camp drastically changed as he learned a valuable trade and became self-reliant. The film will be widely distributed to make a strong case about the need to increase vocational education investment and bring hope to people in a dire situation.
You're here because you support me as an artist and are quite likely a woodworker or artist yourself. You may even have first hand experience with how woodworking changed your life for the better. It has most certainly been a positive and powerful force in my own life. If you are able, please help support this project. Giving a sense of value and purpose to these folks can make such a massive difference in the quality of their lives. So let's support a program that helps do this. We have a chance to partner with Home Storytellers and make a real difference. As a way of saying thank you for your donation, you will receive extra entries to my giveaway where I will giveaway the four items pictured above.
For more information about Jacques and the film that Home Storytellers hopes to make, see the link to their fundraiser below. Every penny earned during my giveaway campaign will go directly to supporting Home Storytellers and their goal of bringing awareness and financial backing to these programs.
