You might’ve seen the crazy mileage (at least to me) I’ve been running recently. Reason being is I’m running a full marathon (26.2 miles) on October 15th, 2023 in Long Beach. And in honor of my recent Vietnam trip, I’m dedicating this run to a charity in Vietnam.
My first trip there as an adult in over 15 years was really bittersweet.
One of the best and funnest cultural experiences I’ve ever had. But there were many parts of the city where I would never feel like I supported their business enough. Everyone is hustling out there to make a living. Whether it’s selling lottery tickets, soft drinks, foods, trinkets, etc.
I told myself that if I ever thought of a way to raise money to help out the people and their families there, I’d do it. No matter how small or large the amount.

I went to Vietnam recently so the cause is much more tangible for me, so I have no expectations for anyone to donate. Whether it’s this charity or any other one, I just hope I’m able to shine light on the people from these different cultures who make our travels the experience it is. Thanks y'all!
