Bringing HOPE...Changing LIVES

We are proud to share that, 13 girls of Y-GENE project from the community participated in district level volleyball tournament, that happened in Government high school, in Thoraipakam, Chennai on 18th November 2018. The team stood 1st. They have crossed 3 levels playing with 3 different schools to win the finals.

Currently, 60 girls are getting trained in Volleyball, Kabbadi, and Kho-kho. These girls love sports and are receiving regular training from a Sports Teacher. We are hoping that this training in sports will help the girls to develop a sense of friendliness and team spirit amongst them.

All thanks to you, who have been instrumental in empowering the young girls.

Memorable Educational Trip to Mamallapuram - 2018

On 28th & 29th Nov 2018, the 24 students from our 10th grade batch 2018-19 went on a memorable trip to Mamallapuram, a historic town near Chennai.

Volunteers from M/s BNY MELLON and our teachers conducted various sessions helping the students to believe in themselves and prepare for the upcoming exams, explore their skills by playing many team games and visit the historic places of Mamallapuram to take pride in their history and culture.

And the teachers motivated the students to focus on their studies as their final exams are 3 months away.

All the students had a chance to enjoy playing at the beach as well .

To end the day, a campfire was organized to enrich their overall trip experience and bond.

It was a  great learning, motivating  trip which left all the 10th Grade students, teachers and the volunteers feeling fulfilled.
