Good Sense Dogs continues to assist the most vulberable and under-served communities of pet owners in the Sacramento area. Because of gererous contributors like you, we have been able to expand our programs to offer assistance to pet owners who are seeking fostering or placement of their pets due to their need to leave the US and return to their country of origin. Because of the Covid crisis, as you can imagine, this situation is even more complex, and we are finding more often than not the animals left behind are in need of permanant placement.
We are commited to continue to offer assistance to this population of pet owners, but need your continued support to do so. Please consider contributing to this important cause today.
It has been quite the summer for Sacramento, and Sensitive Souls has been there to help, thanks to your contributions.
As has been the case throughout the world, Covd-19 has impacted our area greatly. Many pet owners have found themselves in need of supplies and food for their furry best friends. In conjunction with agencies like Sacramento Homeless Union and Loaves and Fishes, we have been able to distribute needed pet supplies to those affected and in crisis. We have also personally delivered items to individuals in need.
In addition to food and supplies, we have found ourselves stepping up to take in animals as the local shleters and animal control centers have been closed or operating with minimum services. Already this kitten season we have taken in more than 25 kittens, placing nearly all of them in forever homes. Because of your support, we are able to spay or neuter, vaccinate and microchip every animal that we receive.
As kitten season comes to a close, we are preparing for the winter when our focus will turn to dog rescue with the opening of Joshua's House. Our partnership with Joshua's House gives an option to the pet owning populations of homeless that are reaching the end of their life. Its important work and we need your continued support to keep our rescue operating. Please consider another donation to our cause. You help us help others!

Hello Friends and Supporters-
As has been the case around the world the last few months, we have had to restructure and refocus our missions based upon the covid-19 virus. We are proud of our ability to adapt and continue to serve our community during this time, and have built new bridges with partners and fellow organizations.
Though our education and therapy dog programs are currrently on hold, we have expanded our reach to assist the at risk and under-served pet owning community in the Sacramento Valley. We are now partnered with Mercer Clinic at Loaves and Fishes and will distribute pet food and equipment during their clinic the second saturday of the month. We have also partnered with Joshua's house and Sacramento Homeless Union to distribute to their areas and served populations.
We continue to stay commited to assisting and educating the pet owning at risk populations of Sacramento and appreciate your support and contributions. You help us help others!
