Sensitive Souls Rescue of Sacramento

Sensitive Souls Rescue of Sacramento

Summary

Good Sense Dogs is extending our reach to assist a greater number of under-served pet owners in the Sacramento Valley. We are offering shelter and re-homing to pets that have been displaced and need help because their owner is ill, homeless, deported, or otherwise unable to care for their four legged best friend any longer. We not only care for these animals, but also train and make ready for adoption so these animals have the best chance at long term and permanent placement.

Challenge

The most vulnerable pet owners need help to care for their animals, particularly at present. As people are moved and housing is temporary or unstable, often pets needs are at risk. Good Sense Dogs is offering assistance to these groups with pet food and equipment, services referrals, and emergency and permanent sheltering of animals.

Solution

Good Sense Dogs is giving an option to people who are struggling with housing, illness and crisis, yet want to best for their beloved pets.

Long-Term Impact

When people have a secure and trusted option for their pets, they are more likely to accept assistance for themselves and have more options for themselves.
