Celebrating & Protecting Teenagers: Under the Mission Kishore Uday programme, Dr Bhupendra Kapadiya and Dr Hitesh Vasava, the paediatricians of Muni Seva Ashram, took lectures on stress management, depression, anxiety, substance use, anaemia, hypertension, suicide prevention for the students of 10th and 12th grade of the Vivekanand Vidhyalaya and the Eklavya Model Residential School of Muni Seva Ashram in January 2020. It helped students understand the importance of mental health and ways to maintain it especially during the stressful time of their state-level board examinations. The students were made aware of such issues being common and the fact that all their teachers and other staff of the school are open and approachable to discuss any such issue in case they ever felt like it.
Ashirvachanam (Farewell) program was organized on 28th February for the students of grades 10th and 12th and was attended by the MSA Chairman, Trustees and other well-wishers to bless the students. A presentation of pictures taken on some remarkable days of the students’ lives presented to the audience brought a feeling of nostalgia amongst the students. The experiences shared by some of the graduating students about their life at MSA schools inspired the younger students to make the most of their time at MSA and made the audience nostalgic. All the distinguished guests motivated the students to give their best and live a life full of values and blessed them for their upcoming state-level board examination.
