Hello and thank you to you, our donors!

With your help, Afrilanthropy has partnered with Caritas churches to distribute help to families in Ivory Coast. These families reside in the neighborhoods of Abidjan, and the children, who usually eat during school, have been especially in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Families were given food kits, made possible through the 1500EUR donated to Afrilanthropy. Thank you to all of our donors! Sixteen families have been aided over two months, an average of 48 people!

These food kits include five bags of rice, six bags of pasta, can of oil, cans of tomato concentrate, five toilet soaps, one breakfast kit, two bags of fine salt, and two tins of peas.

Afrilanthopy’s project goal is to help 200 families in total, and every donation counts! Please donate and share our campaign!

Closing our Project - big thank you

We are pleased to inform you that your contribution has been very essential for us. Unfortunately, as you know, the cyclone has destroyed many things and families, and due to the Corana virus many activities have been suspended but we are doing our best.

With your help and support we are trying to tackle one of Africa's greatest challenges, and thanks to your continuous donations we have created foundations for a new village
With your help we have provided assistance and nutrition to people in need such as rice, oil, beans, soap, flour

We cannot fail to express gratitude to all of you once again.

Afrilanthropy's response to COVID-19 in Mozambique

Afrilanthropy has partnered with the Leonardo Group, Richeiro and local churches to distribute support packages to families in need. These families’ main source of income is from employment as street vendors or artisans, and as COVID-19 has shut down most of the world, they are at risk for extreme financial vulnerability.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors who supported us directly or through crowdfunding platforms such as GlobalGiving, we were able to help 300 families in Maputo and Pemba, Mozambique receive these support packages.

As pictured, each package contains oil, rice, flour, sugar, beans, onions, salt, and pasta, as well as soap. These essentials help families impacted by COVID-19, and help prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout the area by allowing the families to remain safely at home and social distance.

Afrilanthropy has $8,918 remaining of the goal of $10,000. Please help us maximize the impact and support more families at this challenging time. Every dollar counts.
