4th report on provision of clean drinking water
By Azeem Christopher - Program Leader
Thank you very much for all your donations. AWARD Pakistan has taken an initiative to raise funds for the installation of 3 RO water treatment plants to provide clean drinking water in the 3 villages of Punjab with the support of the local community.
The donations to this project in the recent project has declined due to some reason. So far the project has been able to manage 249 USD. We are trying to engage our supporters to get more donations so that we can start installing RO Plants as soon as possible
AWARD Pakistan’s team is regularly visiting the 3 areas and trying to engage the communities in this regard. The staff has not promised the RO plant to the community yet as the amount collected is not sufficient enough. Once the target will be near to achieve, the staff will inform the community about the intervention and the activities associated with it.
We have seen decline in the donations from the past two quarters therefore , We would like to request all our donors and supporters to donate us for this cause to provide children and women an access to safe drinking water.

6th Report for Women Training Center
By Azeem Christopher - Program Leader
Thank you for all your support and donations. Our project "A Training Center to Support 400 Women Every Year" has managed to raise an amount of $1,715 since it has been uploaded.
We would also like to thank the donors who have supported us during the 2 matching campaigns which also contributed in the support. But there has been a serious decline in raising funds especially for this project during the recent quarters at GlobalGiving. We will start working out on the initial structure of the building once we get the best quotation and raise a significant amount.
We have received a good news for this project that one of our partner organization has agreed to assist us in the construction of the building. Though the assistance would only help to complete some part. Therefore we are reducing the asked amount for this project and hope that we will be able to complete the rest of the part through GlobalGiving.
The donation process for this project is relatively slower as compared to our other initiatives, therefore we request all our supporters to please help us to achieve our target to support poor women and girls.
So far, AWARD has utilized the upper vacant portion of its current building and have started the training center for the poor young girls. Nearly 65 girls have completed their training to learn beautician skills to earn livelihood and support their families. 60 girls are managed between 2 different shifts (evening and morning ) due to small space. The duration of the training is 6 months.
The training center will be shifted to the new building when it will be constructed. Two of the batch has already been passed out. The girls are very excited and happy to learn the skills and hope that this skill will help them improve their livelihood situation as the demand for the beautician is very high. These girls after completing their training will either start their own businesses or get employed in the other well-established beauty parlors. The admissions are open for the young poor girls to learn this skill.
Once again we request you to help us achieve our target.
