Off Centre

Off Centre is a small human welfare charity that aims to help young people in Hackney and the surrounding areas realise a brighter future. Our clients, who are between the ages of 11 - 25, are in need of vital care and relief due to mental ill-health, poverty, homelessness and violence. We provide a safe, caring environment where practical, emotional and wellbeing support is tailored to the needs of each individual. We adjust the care we give in accordance with changing circumstances and challenges clients face; this includes specialist psychotherapy, art & drama therapy, advice, information, youth groups and family mediation.

#itsapeoplething- Mental Health Awareness Campaign

The #itsapeoplething aims to challenge the misconceptions and stigma around mental health issues. Thousands of young people each year are not accessing services or not receiving the right support. We aim to change the conversation and show that mental health issues are non-discriminatory. Every young person deserves the right to not suffer in silence. Help us make a change and change the way we view mental health issues. project reportread updates from the field
