2015 has been a record setting year for ELP. Today, with the help of a 12 memeber selection team, ELP will select its 7th class of Fellows for the year. In total, ELP will welcome 128 new Fellows to the community this year - a 30% increase over last year.
As our programs continue to expand, and our community grows, we need your help to ensure that all leaders selected to participate in our programs are able to do so. While many Fellows and/or their organizations can support their participation in ELP, many need some financial assistance. It is through your generosity that these leaders are able to get the training they need, and a community to support then as the continue to make remarkable changes in their organizaitons and communities.
2015 has been an incredible year for ELP thus far. In addition to completing our 2014 National Fellowship Class in January, we have selected and begun our 2015 National Fellowship Class and 4 Regional Classes including our newest program focussed on the Delaware River Watershed Network.
Applications will be accepted for our 2015 Pacific Northwest Regional Network through August 31st so if you know someone in AK, ID, OR, or WA who might be ready to fully engage in the ELP Program and join our growing national community of practice now is the time for them to apply!
In addition to our continued growth in our core programs, ELP has been fortunate to work with a number of organizations this year to increase the efficiency of their staff's achievements, and help launch new initiatives - some of the organizations we have worked with this year include NatureBridge, the Ocean Conservancy and the Nanticoke Watershed Alliance. If you, or your organization could use a thoughtful team to help you reach your next level of success let us know - we'd love to be a part of your success story!
Thank you so much for your continued support and for being a vital member of ELP's upward trajectory.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the Environmental Leadership Program and for the investments you have made in the success of our work through your generous contributions.
This will be the final report for our 2014 project as we are excited to launch our new 2015 GlobalGiving Project http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/emerging-and-innovative-environmental-leaders-2015/
Our goal for this project is $20,000, the amount we anticipate providing in scholarship funds to ensure that no individuals selected by our selections committees are denied the ability to participate in ELP due to financial burden. In 2015, we anticiate welcoming up to 130 NEW Fellows to the ELP Community.
We hope you will continue to support ELP's work and will join us on March 18, 2015 for our first GlobalGiving Matching Day of the Year where your contribution will be eligible for a 30% Match http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/emerging-and-innovative-environmental-leaders-2015/
Thank you again and we look forward to keep you posted on our progress and success!
