Mission

Education Through Music-Los Angeles' mission is to provide music education in low-income schools as part of the core curriculum and regular school day in order to enhance students' academic performance and general development. We believe every child deserves a well-rounded education, one that includes music and the arts. ETM-LA was founded in Fall 2006 as the first independent program in the nation based on the Education Through Music model that has been successfully serving New York City schools since 1991.
