The RCP-Network (Reseau Communautaire pour le Pauvre) is an African interregional network set up since 2009, although officially registered with the authorities in 2013. The RCP-Network and the organizations that compose it, are experienced in the execution, involvement and management of projects both on national and international scale. The network is an officially accredited organization with United Nations Climate Change convention, Consultative statute United Nations ECOSOC, UN-CTAD, IPBES, ITTO, UN-DRR, GEF, UN-Habitat, WWViews Alliance, and others. the Network already was involved and implemted many projects: The World Wide Views on Biodiversity in 2012, the Project World Wide Views on Climate and Energy in 2015, the project World Clean up day (let's do it) 2013-2017. The network was represented in the Sterring Committee of the Office of the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations for the selection of candidates for the African descend day 2014. He was also selected as general reporter of the civil society of Central Africa during the Extended Constituency Workshop ECW-GEF 2011. within the activities of the Global Environment Facility GEF, the network was in 2010 the NGO initiating international lobbying which activated the Small Grant Program in Congo (GEF-PNUD) whose we were included as a member of the National Steering Committee in 2011. In 2016 for to address the GEF Evaluation Office, the network produced a report related the problem of the Food Biosecurity document of the DR Congo. In 2020, for the Secretariat of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, the RCP-Network produced an analytical report on the causes and origins of the failure of the Aichi targets (Strategic Plan 2011-2020). From 2018 2024, the RCP-Network has been executing an international and national lobbying project for protection, conservation, and regeneration in the Congo Basin; and this with the logistical support of his partners. Currently, the RCP is acting as a pioneer and catalyst for the global advocacy campaign on legal gaps in freshwater management, following the Advocacy Memorandum adopted in Geneva at the conference held on December 5, 2025, at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG). This campaign aims to lead to the adoption of a new universal protocol addressing the issue of legal gaps in freshwater management.
