CFOR refers to the 'force of community' During the surge of divisiveness in our times, it's easy to fall into hopelessness. It is participants of our forums, whether in Rwanda, the Balkans, Ukraine, or in the UK, who have repeatedly inspired us with meaning and hope. Not 'pie in the sky' hope, but hope that comes from witnessing that we can grapple with community trauma and injustice, reckon with what separates us, and discover what connects us and propels us. As a small organisation, we've been dedicated over many years to facilitating community interactions, training facilitators in conflict resolution, reconciliation and violence prevention, and bringing out some of our learning in short films and publications. What is most important to us is to contribute to the personal and collective awareness so terribly needed in our times, so as to not be swept up, and pulled apart into echo chambers, divisiveness and cycles of violence. Our wish is to contribute to a worldview that recognizes the importance of individual and community facilitation, in order to access our wisdom, transform our past, and find pathways together for our shared future. We very much need and appreciate your support for our projects, close to home in the UK, in the Ukraine, and in Rwanda and the Great Lakes.
