"We’re inspired by the work of our newest nonprofit partners, each of them doing important work to improve lives and protect the planet," said Alix Guerrier, Chief Executive Officer of GlobalGiving. "They span 30 countries, meaning that their impact is truly global. We at GlobalGiving are privileged to have them in our community, and we look forward to learning with and from them as our partnerships continue into the future!"
The COVID-19 pandemic brought a unique set of challenges to the organizations participating in the March 2020 Accelerator. Nevertheless, they persisted! We’re especially humbled to welcome 65 outstanding organizations to the GlobalGiving community. From supporting unaccompanied refugee minors in Lesvos, to empowering students with disabilities in Tanzania, to providing legal aid to families affected by the earthquakes in Puerto Rico, this resilient cohort makes us incredibly proud.
"It was a fantastic experience for us, giving us a lot of inspiration and new skills to motivate people to value our work and make a contribution. We used to work with and raise funds for our projects from institutional donors. But this experience with individual donors was something special. It was a new challenge and inspired us a lot because we saw how many individuals believe in your mission and trust us."
- Susanna Tadevosyan, President, Bridge of Hope
