"We’re inspired by the work of our newest nonprofit partners, each of them doing important work to improve lives and protect the planet," said Alix Guerrier, Chief Executive Officer of GlobalGiving. "They span 32 countries, meaning that their impact is truly global. We at GlobalGiving are privileged to have them in our community, and we look forward to learning with and from them as our partnerships continue into the future!"

The June 2019 Accelerator welcomed 80 graduates and their incredible projects. From tackling poverty in Uganda’s Namuwongo slum to providing lifesaving healthcare to Palestinian communities in the Bethlehem Governorate, to prioritizing the needs of people with intellectual disabilities in Buin, this thoughtful and dedicated group does it all.

"We’re so excited to have graduated from the June Accelerator! It was a great opportunity and made us realize that so many people, both at home and abroad, believe in our work. Above all, participating in the Accelerator showed us what we can accomplish as a team if we all work together towards a common goal. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to GlobalGiving and its wonderful team for the trainings, advice, moral/technical support, and for giving our organization the opportunity to be part of an inspiring community of change makers."

- Patricia Oviedo, Project Manager, Centro de Incidencia Ambiental de Panama
