When will the organization receive my credit?
It can take up to 60 days before the organization receives your credit. More information can be found on the GlobalGiving website.
How were the featured organizations chosen?
We partnered with GlobalGiving to create a list of organizations that focus communities celebrated through the ADCOLOR experience, but if you would like to contribute to a different eligible organization (or organizations) including organizations outside the U.S., you can do so on the GlobalGiving website.
How will the organizations use the money?
All funds directed to featured organizations on the site will be for general operating support, meaning each organization may spend the funds where they determine the money will be most impactful.
If an attendee doesn't participate, what happens to that money?
Google will contribute all unused credits across all aforementioned organizations.
Can I get a personal tax deduction?
Connections attendees are not entitled to claim a personal charitable tax deduction because the contribution to the selected organizations will be made by Google using Google funds.
Will the organization get 100% of the contribution or are there fees involved?
For the recommended organizations: Google is covering all transaction fees associated with the processing and payment of funds.
Is Google formally affiliated with any of these non-profits or projects?
While we are excited to support these communities and projects through our partnership with GlobalGiving on this event, Google does not formally partner or endorse the non-profits or projects listed.
