Supporting a global network of nonprofits. Across 175+ countries and 20 time zones, GlobalGiving is backing change leaders driving real impact. In 2025, we supported nonprofit leaders through dynamic virtual gatherings, inspirational panels, peer-led workshops, and one incredible Women and Girls Storytelling Festival—all spaces designed for connection, learning, and momentum. Companies driving impact. In 2025, 78 corporate partners collaborated with GlobalGiving to support nonprofits around the world, providing more than $49M through innovative grantmaking, disaster response, employee giving, cause marketing, charitable gift card programs and technical solutions. Their commitment enabled organizations across the globe to carry forward critical work—from Tripadvisor’s support in times of urgent need through GlobalGiving’s Community Aid Fund and KPMG’s campaign to advance mental health alongside 3M’s sustained investment in STEM education and Capital One’s leadership in environmental conservation.

With a camera in hand, filmmaker Brodie Hopkins seeks out places few people think to go—remote classrooms, village meetings, and community projects quietly changing lives. From Our Community: The “Love in Action” World Journal. This year, community leaders around the world partnered with GlobalGiving to share letters, sketches, poems, and reflections about the passion that fuels their work—from a grandmother, to a river, to an unwavering belief in peace. Through these intimate stories, the GlobalGiving World Journal shows how everyday acts of care and commitment grow into solutions that heal, inspire, and carry communities forward. Meeting the Moment: Mobilizing in a Global Funding Crisis.

The global aid landscape shifted dramatically in 2025, as deep funding cuts left millions without critical support. GlobalGiving moved quickly to respond, launching the Community Aid Fund to mobilize flexible funding for local leaders across our community. Through this fund and our broader efforts in the wake of cuts, GlobalGiving and our community of partners and donors provided more than $45 million to vetted nonprofit organizations across the 100 most affected countries.

A different kind of disaster response.

Across dozens of countries and hundreds of crises worldwide, GlobalGiving puts trust in local leaders, removes barriers to aid, and centers relationships on equity and collaboration—ensuring disaster relief and recovery is guided by the people who know their communities best.

  • In 2025, GlobalGiving responded to 71 disasters and crises worldwide —
    mobilizing more than $16 million to support both immediate relief and long-term recovery for communities facing conflict, displacement, wildfires, hurricanes, and more.
  • At the heart of this work are local leaders.
    We invested in more than 300 vetted nonprofit partners across dozens of countries on the front lines of the world’s most pressing crises—organizations that know their communities best and are uniquely positioned to respond when a crisis hits. In many places, the stakes are life or death, with partners working to sustain HIV treatment, keep feeding programs running, and ensure people don't lose access to essential care overnight.
  • Supporting communities across the Middle East.
    As conflict and instability continue to impact lives across the region, GlobalGiving partners are delivering urgent, life-saving support—from food and medical care to shelter and trauma services. Our trusted, vetted partners are responding with deep expertise, resilience, and compassion—standing alongside families and communities when it matters most.
  • Rebuilding with care in Hawai‘i.
    GlobalGiving partners like Maui Rapid Response continue the work of recovery from the 2023 wildfires—delivering clean drinking water, restoring food access through community gardens, and creating spaces for healing. Across the island, grassroots efforts are rebuilding livelihoods, from food trucks to artisan markets.
  • Restoring livelihoods after Hurricane Melissa.
    In Haiti and Jamaica, local GlobalGiving partners responded quickly—distributing meals and supplies while helping farmers replant crops. Together, they helped restore food security, stability, and hope in communities hit hardest by the storm.
  • Sustaining essential services in Ukraine.
    In the midst of the ongoing war, local partners are keeping critical systems running—equipping medical centers, supporting survivors of trauma, and creating safe spaces for children.
  • Responding to wildfires in California.
    As communities face increasingly frequent and devastating wildfires, GlobalGiving partners in Los Angeles and beyond are providing urgent relief and supporting long-term recovery—ensuring that low-income and historically underserved communities receive the resources they need to rebuild.

In 2025, GlobalGiving reached an incredible milestone: $1 billion raised to support local leaders around the world. That billion went to midwives, farmers, artists, and activists—it helped Gazan cooks feed families, Rohingya children reclaim joy through performance, Indigenous women protect water sources in Paraguay, girls in Nigeria speak out for equality, and Maui land trusts preserve community wealth.

Each dollar represents trust in local changemakers, turning generosity into tangible impact across continents.

We rigorously vet nonprofits so donors can give with confidence, and we’ve helped facilitate billions of dollars reaching thousands of organizations meeting diverse needs.

How to Help After Afghanistan Earthquake

Donations to the GlobalGiving Afghanistan Earthquake Relief Fund are expected to support emergency response efforts across affected areas⁠—⁠including search and rescue, medical care, food and water supply, and temporary shelters. In an email to TIME, GlobalGiving said that once initial relief work is complete, the relief fund "will transition to support longer-term recovery led by vetted, community-based organizations."

  • $100M and counting: Ford Philanthropy fuels local solutions.

    After nearly 15 years of partnership, Ford reached a major milestone in 2025: $100 million granted to nonprofits tackling some of the world’s toughest challenges. From safe driving programs to disaster recovery and community hubs, Ford supports locally-led work in over 85 countries.Learn more about Ford’s impact.

  • Gaming for good: Riot Games and GlobalGiving.

    Through their Charity Voting campaign, Riot Games raised $4.37M for 84 nonprofits across 28 countries. Players voted for the causes they cared about most, giving organizations global visibility and critical funding for their missions.Learn more about Riot’s innovative participatory campaigns.

  • Matching generosity: Tripadvisor Foundation turns travel into impact.

    Through the Let Your Heart Travel campaign, Tripadvisor Foundation matched donations to the GlobalGiving Community Aid Fund—transforming everyday generosity into amplified global impact. Together, donors unlocked critical funding for health care, education, and safe water initiatives around the world. See the campaign highlights.

  • Giving built in: 1 Hotels supports environmental action.

    Through their Mission Membership program, 1 Hotels donates 1% of qualifying stays to leading environmental nonprofits—raising nearly $500,000 in just six months to support critical conservation efforts.

  • Standing with communities in crisis: Sage Foundation supports disaster recovery.

    Sage Foundation partnered with GlobalGiving UK in 2025 to support rapid responses to disasters affecting communities around the world. Sage provided funding to help communities and families impacted by a number of crises, including a powerful earthquake in Myanmar and catastrophic flooding in South East Asia, Spain and the United States. By directing funding quickly to organisations responding on the ground, this partnership helped ensure that communities facing sudden crises could access timely support as they navigated immediate recovery and began rebuilding for the future.
