Reached more than 1,300 leaders through in-person workshops in 24 countries, including Mexico, Kenya, Rwanda, India, Sri Lanka, South America, the Philippines, West Africa, and Uganda.
Created and curated tips, tools, and resources through our Learn Library, which were read more than 619,000 times.
Thanks to you, GlobalGiving is meeting its obligation to question the rules of traditional, top-down philanthropy, and change them for the better. Here are a few innovations from 2019 that made us proud. We:
Conducted research to understand and support community-led change—with the aim of making the nonprofit sector more accountable to the people it intends to serve.
Led conversations among philanthropy platforms about ethical decision-making, called the Neutrality Paradox.
Convened our corporate grantmaking community for the first time to foster peer learning and explore best practices in community-led giving.
