According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the poverty rate in March 2025 stands at 8.47 percent, with approximately 23.85 million people living below the national poverty line. Millions of families continue to struggle with limited income, food insecurity, inadequate housing, and restricted access to healthcare and education. Reinforcing cycles of poverty that are difficult to break without sustained and targeted support.
This program leverages zakat funds to provide integrated poverty alleviation support, combining immediate relief with long-term economic empowerment. Assistance includes financial aid for essential needs, micro-business capital, skills training, livelihood development, and ongoing mentoring to help beneficiaries build stable and sustainable income sources.
