Our charity will create first neurological rehabilitation clinic in Morocco, benefiting children with neurological conditions, patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries & stroke
There is no access to neuro-rehabilitation care in Morocco: children with neurological conditions and adults with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and stroke induced brain damage, do not have any chance of recovering from their conditions. The vast majority of them end up severely handicapped, adding tremendous financial and emotional burden on their families and society. Many of them face premature death. Worse, pubIic ignorance made neurological conditions a "taboo" medical issue
Our non-profit will build the first access to neuro-rehabilitation in Morocco, The Moulay Ali Institute for Rehabilitation, a facility that will provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions, by Moroccan staff trained in the US.
Moulay Ali Institute for Rehabilitation will provide access to recovery for several thousands of patients each year, coordinate medical training for Moroccans in the US, educate the Moroccan public about the benefits of neurological rehabilitation
