The Scholarship Support to 550 Youths in Mezam project is making meaningful progress in expanding educational opportunities and building the skills, confidence, and resilience of disadvantaged young people.

The project responds to the challenges faced by many youths who struggle with financial limitations, inadequate access to practical skills, limited mentorship, and uncertainty about their educational and career choices. Our approach goes beyond traditional scholarship assistance by combining education with practical skills development and personal guidance.

So far, the project has supported Computer Science and ICT training, helping young people develop essential digital skills needed for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and participation in today’s digital economy. We have also promoted vocational and professional education, providing opportunities for youths to acquire practical, marketable skills that can lead to employment and self-reliance.

Through mentorship and academic support, beneficiaries are receiving encouragement, guidance, and motivation to remain committed to their education and personal development. Mentorship is also helping young people build confidence, resilience, discipline, and clearer goals for their future.

Another important achievement is the provision of career guidance and counselling for students who are uncertain about what to pursue after secondary education or after completing their studies. These sessions help young people understand their interests, abilities, and available opportunities so they can make informed decisions about their future.

The progress achieved demonstrates that investing in young people can create lasting impact. However, many disadvantaged youths still need support to access education, training, mentorship, and career opportunities.

We are therefore seeking continued crowdfunding and donor support to reach more of the targeted 550 youths, expand training opportunities, provide learning materials, strengthen mentorship, and support vulnerable beneficiaries.

Your contribution can help a young person gain a skill, continue their education, discover their purpose, and build a more independent future. Together, we can transform educational challenges into opportunities and empower the next generation of Mezam.
