Every day in December, YOU change someone's story. How it works: each day of advent you will open an advent window (thank you email) from the project of the day. $1.50 is sent to a different project each day of advent, so one $36 dollar calendar leads to 24 different projects receiving $1.50! Therefore if we sell 1000 calendars, each project receives $1500 - an enormous funding boost.
Often, many of our less 'eye-catching' projects get overlooked and may not receive enough funding. This results in a lack of development and progress toward sustainability, limiting their ability to create positive change.
The Impact Advent Calendar tackles this problem in 2 ways: by distributing funds equally to each pre-selected project, and by raising awareness about these projects with the hope of them getting more attention in the future.
Increased awareness around these projects will hopefully lead to them gaining more supporters and donors. As a result they can progress toward sustainability at a faster pace and help more people in the long-term.
