While schools in Niger are on summer break, we're hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year. Middle and high schools start up again in September and despite over 800 schools closing since the coup d'etat in 2023, we are pleased that all of our partner schools continue providing quality education to their students. We are excited for the Girls' Advancement program in the coming school year because two of our other projects -- Youth Running Clubs and STEM Learning Initiative -- will enrich the education the young women in the program receive. While the Girls' Advancement program monetarily focuses on keeping a cadre of young women in school and ensuring they succeed, the program benefits all of the girls in our partner schools. With a 50% female enrollment, our partner schools are impacting the lives of over 2600 girls and young women annually.
