Uplift A Child began with the journey of one boy, born into poverty in the slums of India. His future seemed uncertain — until a compassionate sponsor stepped in to support his education through high school. That simple act of kindness became the turning point in his life.

Empowered by education, he moved to the United States and built a life of purpose. Yet he never forgot where he came from. In 2000, he began helping poor children — not through an organization, but from his own pocket, one child at a time. What started as a personal mission soon grew into something much bigger.

Today, Uplift A Child is a registered public charity supporting over 4,000 children across the globe. The founder’s journey from hardship to leadership is a living example of how education can transform not just one life, but thousands. With an unwavering commitment to quality education and holistic support, Uplift A Child continues to lay the foundation for brighter futures.

10 children in Khunti are in urgent need of sponsorship to continue their education. These children come from families facing financial hardship, yet they remain determined to pursue their studies and build a better future.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donor who contributed $305 towards the education of children (without sponsor) at Seventh-day Adventist School, Khunti – Jharkhand. 

The children received essential school supplies—such as notebooks, pens, and basic learning materials—that have enabled them to continue studies with renewed confidence and dignity.
