"Belonging to Sirenaica has made me a richer person in every aspect because I have acquired knowledge on working with children and thanks to that I am more passionate each day about the fact that I am filling life with music, and also the hearts of new members of our Sirenaica family" - Karyne Rios Valencia, Monitor

"Pertenecer a Sirenaica me ha convertido en una persona mas rica en todos los aspectos ,ya que he adquirido muchos conocimientos acerca del trabajo con los niños y es gracias a esto que día a día me apasiona mas llenar de música la vida y los corazones de los nuevos integrantes de la familia Sirenaica." - Karyne Rios Valencia, Monitora
We hope you are already missing us and excited about some news on our children an youth. We have been pretty active these past months, especially those choruses with longer TRAYECTORIA. We have held concerts in various places around the city such as el Parque de los Deseos ("Desires Park"), Pablo Tobón Uribe Cafe, Copacabana's Confama, and seldom schools.
Since May, 2016 we have been receiving some donations from America's Planned Giving, an entity from the USA that collects resources at Florida by means of faris, bazaars, raffles, auctions and donations. They will support us for 2 years. This new recurring donation will allow us to train more monitors thus letting them teach our beginner choirs.
Up to date, there are 450 children linked to our program, from 14 different cities, all of which is possible with our donors' cooperation and constant support.
Remember to spread the voice, and allow some new people to enroll with our cause. Karyne's testimony on how music has become her passion is just one of our many life stories. Day to day, vulnerable children's lives are being transformed and new horizons appear to replace their violent and tragic history through art and music.
Many lives could be changes, many hearts could be touched and many children could build a new future.
Have the greatest next month, full of music and joy.
